Hello Reader, I hope your weekend has been good already! And thank you for subscribing and reading my weekly newsletter. I've got all of the notes from the week plus some coming soon things to catch you up on. This Week at A Quilting LifeWe got a lot done this week in the A Quilting Life sewing and podcast studio. We filmed introductions and closings for two new podcasts (both of them feature guest interviews). We also filmed three videos (Chelsi filmed two and I filmed one). Along with that we had an outdoor photo shoot for new headshots (it was literally 109 out at 7:30 p.m. the other day when we did the outdoor photos). I also had an indoor photo shoot yesterday with our fall collection release! So yes, it was a busy week for us and for the studio! And Finally...Thoughts on My Sewing Room JourneyI recently started thinking about my sewing room journey after reading an artist's perception of the changes in her studio over the years. It made me think about the changes in my sewing room(s) in a way I hadn't really thought about before. I thought even more about this yesterday while cleaning up for the indoor photo shoot. Lots of fun planned for this week hopefully including some sewing with new fabrics. I'm also trying to get ahead on a few things for fall since the summer is rapidly flying by! I hope you get to spend some wonderful time sewing, quilting, and creating this week.

We've had a wonderful celebration weekend with family in town and were able to do some swimming, lots of eating, and even some game playing with a favorite game from when my kids were teenagers.
