Hello Reader, There is just one more week of August, and then I'm going to start decorating for fall--I can't wait. It's been 110+ most days here this week, so I'm hoping the fall decor will help me get through our end-of-summer heat. And since Birch & Willow is now shipping to shops, it's a great time to share projects old and new with this perfect-for-sewing-now group! Our Town in Poinsettia & PearFirst, I want to share an image of my new Midsummer quilt, Our Town, mocked up in Poinsettia & Pear. My friend and quilter Marion asked me to send her this image so she could sew Our Town with fabrics available now! When she is finished, I'll get a picture of her quilt--but I wanted to share with all of you since we mentioned it on the podcast recently. Pumpkin CottageEarlier this week I decided to make a pillow to use with my Birch & Willow decor...that little project then inspired me to do a pattern and also include a runner and wall hanging option!
