October Notes: $5 Pattern, Links from the Week + Coming Soon

Hello, friends! Happy October! I hope your weekend has been a good one thus far! Today I have several things to share with you including the $5 pattern for October, and new design in the shop, notes from the week, and details about some things that are coming this week. I've got a little bit of everything to share it seems...keep reading for all of the notes. $5 for October: Whimsy StarsThis month's $5 pattern is my Whimsy Stars quilt--it's pictured above in our Poinsettia & Pear collection but would also make such a fun quilt in our Birch & Willow group, perfect for the season now! This one is also such a great scrap quilt and uses Fat Quarters, or a combination of Fat Quarters and a Layer Cake.
New Pattern in the ShopI also have a new pattern in the shop this week. This pattern is one of the designs included in our Birch & Willow Project Packages. It contains instructions for a throw quilt and a table runner.

Coming This WeekTomorrow I'll be sharing the October 2026 Block of the Month pattern and video. We only have two blocks to go! In November I'll also share the fabric requirements for the 2027 Block of the Month. And on Thursday I'll be sharing three blocks for the Poinsettia Stars Sew Along--I'll also share three in November so we can get that quilt finished up in early December. I love how my blocks turned out this month and can't wait to have another version of this great quilt. More with Coastal Breeze fabrics is coming this week, too!
