$5 for June + Poinsettia & Pear Precuts

Hello Reader,

It's been a beautiful last week of May here--we've had temperatures in the 80's which is almost a little miraculous for the end of May (we are used to sometimes being in the 110's by now). So, I'm enjoying every cool morning and evening until the heat arrives soon.

In the studio I've been working on new things for fall and doing some cleaning and organizing. I'm ready to start sewing some fun small project very soon!

Poinsettia & Pear Precuts Have Arrived

Poinsettia & Pear Precuts have arrived, and I've got a nice assortment in the shop right now including charm packs, jelly rolls, honeybuns, fat eighth and fat quarter bundles. Yardage will be shipping in June, and I'll let you know when that happens. We'll wait to begin our Poinsettia Stars Block of the Month Sew Along until the collection is fully available. (Poinsettia & Pear Project packages will also ship after yardage arrives),

$5 for June

The $5 pattern for June is my Backyard Blooms quilt and table runner. The quilt pattern was originally in my Home & Hearth book (now out of print). I've updated the pattern and added a table runner version as well.

Hello Reader, Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend is going well and that lots of sewing is in your plans. I first want to say how thankful I am for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country as well celebrate them and express our gratitude this Memorial Day Weekend in the US. Although there is still another full week of May, it's definitely the unofficial start to summer where I live. School is out, daytime temperatures are in the high 90's, and the summer vibe is real. (I'm just...

Hello Reader, I hope you've had a wonderful week and that you are able to get some sewing and quilting done this weekend! It took me most of the week to get back in my normal rhythms after attending the H + H Americas convention in Chicago (I'm linking my recap of this event below). But I've been steadily getting things put away and cleaned up and am ready for a productive week ahead. Midsummer by Sherri & Chelsi for Moda Fabrics Booth at H&H Americas Show

Hello Reader, I hope you've had a beautiful weekend and also want to wish a happy Mother's Day to all who mother and celebrate this day! I shared our Midsummer Fabric collection there in the Moda Designer Booth area and came home inspired and ready to get back to work designing and creating. I'll have a full post on the show later this week. Our booth at...
