$5 for August + Early August Notes

Hey there Reader,

It's August, and while it's still incredibly hot here (we have temperatures projected in the 115-degree range for the next several days), I'm starting to get hopeful about the arrival of fall just around the corner. Today I'm sharing the $5 pattern for August along with recent posts on the blog and our YouTube channel.

All Things Raspberry Summer

It's definitely been a Raspberry Summer here as we've been sharing the quilts and projects over the last several weeks. And we still have more to share, so stay tuned! I'll have a new video up later this week with something fun! And watch for tomorrow's post and video which will share the August Block of the Month pattern.

Fall Dash Wall Hanging: $5 for August

I chose a fall-themed quilt for this month's $5 pattern because it's the perfect time to start planning for all of the pumpkin and leaf sewing! This is one of my favorites, and I know you'll enjoy making it in your favorite fall fabrics. Choose paper or a PDF version of this pattern.

In the Sewing Room

I've been working on keeping my sewing room organized as I prepare to (hopefully) finish a lot of works in progress very soon. I've also got a little behind-the-scenes sewing to do, but my plan is really to get some of my long-term things ready for quilting. This is a great time of year for me to get caught up on all of the things and plan for fall.

Hello Reader, It's early September and fall is definitely around the corner! We thought our heat waves were finished but got another round of them last week.
