Free Pillow Patterns + Early September

Hello Reader,

It's early September and fall is definitely around the corner! We thought our heat waves were finished but got another round of them last week. I'm hoping this week our weather will finally turn the corner!

In the meantime, I'm switching out all of my decor from red, white and blue (which has been out since late June) into items with warmer tones, pumpkins, and leaves. I've also been working on several new fall projects and patterns which I'll be sharing with you soon. Keep reading for all of the recent happenings on the blog and our YouTube channel along with a nice round-up of free pillow patterns.

Free Pillow Patterns + Tips for Pillows

If you've been following along here for a little while, you know I love a good pillow. I make a lot of them to switch out according to the seasons, and many of them are actually free patterns. Earlier this week I put all of my free pillow patterns together into one post to make it easy to find them all. Some are tutorials, but many have free PDF printables included.

Quilt Market Prep + Laguna Sunrise Arrival

The arrival of fall also means International Quilt Market is just around the corner. I'm working on more small projects for our booth in order to showcase our Raspberry Summer collection. I will never tire of sewing with this group!

Also, our Laguna Sunrise fabric collection should be shipping by the end of the month. (Watch for project packages, pre-cuts and low-volume fabric bundles available for pre-order soon in the shop). We also have some fun things in store when the collection arrives including a very fun sew along.

Coming This Week

Stay tuned tomorrow for our podcast on EQ and pattern design. Then on Wednesday look for my post on my Sewing Room Update I just finished up this month. And on Friday look for a post on books I've read during the first half of the year. My regular lifestyle post will be up on Saturday!
