Hello Reader, First, thanks so much for taking the time to open my newsletter. I try to share helpful tips and links each weekend so you can make the most of your quilting life. Today I have some exciting things to share including a new Quilting Life Academy session beginning soon, a delightful backpack sew-along (starting tomorrow) and more! Keep reading for details plus links to all of my blog posts and videos from the week. Quilting Life Academy Session 4I'm super excited to announce that the doors are open for my Quilting Life Academy now, and classes will begin on Monday, July 14th. This on-line six-week quilt course for beginner to intermediate quilters is a fantastic way to learn to quilt or to improve your current skills. The course is available in weekly increments, and everything is on video so you can watch it over and over (there are also two live sessions that are recorded for Q&A). The course includes printables for organizing, small project patterns for practicing new techniques, and step by step instructions to make the Garden Stars Sampler quilt pictured above (pattern also included with the course). Over the past year I've been able to meet several of my course students in person and have been grateful to hear of their appreciation. This is the last time I'll run this course in 2025, so join us now (plus, get the early bird pricing now, a $50 savings)!

Hello Reader, I returned home earlier this week after getting to spend a few days in Dallas at the Modavation retreat for shop owners. I truly enjoyed meeting and sharing with shop owners from all over the country and the world! I also came home with a true appreciation for everything Moda does to help ensure their shop owners have everything they need to do their best for their customers. I was also able to spend a little time at the Moda warehouse which is also inspiring. Being able to meet...
Hello Reader I hope your June is off to a wonderful start! Here in the desert we have been enjoying a cooler than normal end of spring and were even blessed with some rain last week! (We're currently in a drought and are so appreciative of any water we can get). It's supposed to get hotter soon, so I'll definitely be indoors in my sewing room :) Today I'm sharing details from earlier in the week on the blog and YouTube channel. Plus, I have a much-requested pattern now available in paper...
