More Fall Quilt Inspiration, Free Fall Décor Printable, + $5 PDF Pattern of the Week

Hello there Reader,

It's officially fall in the northern hemisphere! And I've been loving the cooler evenings and the shift towards cooler days where I live. Soon, though, I'll be sharing all things holiday preparation, so I want to take one more opportunity to share some fun fall finds including a free printable to help you stay on track with your fall quilt and decor projects. Additionally, I'm sharing this week's $5 PDF pattern which is one I just added to the shop this week.

Fun Fall Quilts & More

Earlier this week I shared part 2 of my 2023 Fall Quilt Decor with a focus on favorite lap and larger quilts. Two of the quilts I shared are the Autumnal quilt (above, left) and the Fall at Home quilt (above, right). There are several other fun quilts included along with a free PDF with tips and space for keeping track of your fall projects, so you'll definitely want to read the post if you missed it.

I'll also be sharing a different $5 PDF pattern of the week from now through the end of the year (in addition to my monthly $5 pattern available in paper or PDF). I'm kicking off this series with my Garden Path quilt pictured above in our Harper's Garden fabric collection from a few years ago.

Below you'll find links to the posts from earlier this week on the blog. The Blockheads 5 sew along with weekly free patterns in two sizes is now going strong, and you'll also find my monthly works in progress post on the list along with the Fall Quilt post and my weekly Saturday Seven Lifestyle Inspiration post.

Coming Soon...

Lots of fun is coming next week including a new podcast, another Blockheads free block pattern, the first of my posts on getting ready for the holidays, and my popular monthly favorites post.

Thank you so much for reading my weekly newsletters. I love being able to bring you quilty inspiration each week. And if you ever have any ideas for topics you'd like me to share in these newsletters, please don't hesitate to hit reply to share your suggestions. Happy quilting!

Have a great day!
Sherri

Hello Reader, I hope your week has been a good one! I've been busy getting ready for our end of May retreats along with everything else that seems to be going on in what everyone is calling "Maycember." I'm picking out quilts for my upcoming trunk shows today--and it's so hard to choose which ones to take! I definitely would love to take more than will fit in my car. We finished up a photo shoot for a project and got our photos back this week. It's always fun to see professional photos of our...

Scrappy fabrics by Sherri & Chelsi for Moda Fabrics

Hello Reader, Happy May! I hope you're having lovely spring (or fall if you're in the southern hemisphere) weather. This is really such a beautiful time of the year where I live in the desert southwest. And it's been quite a busy week in my sewing room over the last few days as I'm trying to get kits ready for two upcoming retreats I'm teaching at during the latter part of this month. I've been cutting fabrics day and night and doing a bit of cleaning and organizing in my sewing room as well....
