Hello, May! This Month's $5 Pattern + More!

Hello Reader,

Happy May! I hope you're having lovely spring (or fall if you're in the southern hemisphere) weather. This is really such a beautiful time of the year where I live in the desert southwest.

And it's been quite a busy week in my sewing room over the last few days as I'm trying to get kits ready for two upcoming retreats I'm teaching at during the latter part of this month. I've been cutting fabrics day and night and doing a bit of cleaning and organizing in my sewing room as well. We've also shared quite a bit on both the blog and our YouTube channel this week, so keep reading for all of those details.

This Week on the Blog and our YouTube Channel

Below you'll find links to the posts and videos from earlier this week. We went ahead and shared the May Block of the Month early, too! (The Harbor Sew Along post that was originally scheduled for last Thursday will be available tomorrow).

$5 Quilt Pattern for May

This month my Happy Go Lucky 2 pattern is on sale in paper and PDF for $5. If you don't have this already, this one is a must-have and must-make. Happy Go Lucky 2 is beginner friendly, fat quarter friendly, and finishes at 75 1/2" x 88 1/2". This one is also an amazing stash buster quilt and is perfect to use with any fabrics. Plus, use orphan blocks instead of the squares inside of the churn dash units, and you can make a quilt as unique as you!

Coming Soon

Stay tuned for the next video tutorial for the Harbor Row Quilt Sew Along coming tomorrow. And if you are wanting to join in, there is still plenty of time--I've got all of the details on tomorrow's blog post.

Have a great day!
Sherri

Hello Reader, Happy June! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend and that you are able to get some sewing in this weekend. It's been a whirlwind of a couple of weeks for me as I've just returned home from two back-to-back quilt retreats where I taught with my daughter Chelsi and fellow Moda designer Camille Roskelley. We had such good times with 78 participants in each retreat and a fabulous group of ladies who organized and tended to all of the details. It was wonderful to see some...

Hello Reader, I hope your week has been a good one! I've been busy getting ready for our end of May retreats along with everything else that seems to be going on in what everyone is calling "Maycember." I'm picking out quilts for my upcoming trunk shows today--and it's so hard to choose which ones to take! I definitely would love to take more than will fit in my car. We finished up a photo shoot for a project and got our photos back this week. It's always fun to see professional photos of our...
