Happy June from A Quilting Life

Hello Reader

I hope your June is off to a wonderful start! Here in the desert we have been enjoying a cooler than normal end of spring and were even blessed with some rain last week! (We're currently in a drought and are so appreciative of any water we can get). It's supposed to get hotter soon, so I'll definitely be indoors in my sewing room :)

Today I'm sharing details from earlier in the week on the blog and YouTube channel. Plus, I have a much-requested pattern now available in paper format! Keep reading for all of the details and a peek at what's coming soon.

Cottage Charm Now Available in Paper Format

My Cottage Charm quilt was originally in my Labor of Love book (now out of print). I've had many requests over the years to make it available as a paper pattern, and I'm happy to say they arrived just the other day. This is a beginner-friendly quilt that uses fat quarters and finishes up at a nice 72 1/2" x 72 1/2".

Hello Reader, I hope your week has been a good one! And now we're into the final week of the year. This is such a favorite time of mine--I tend to get a lot of sewing done this week. I also like to reflect on the year ending and get organized for the upcoming seasons. I'll have some special posts for that this week and the early part of January. I'm looking forward to 2026!
