Free Pillow/Mini Quilt Pattern

Hello Reader,

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend! I have several new things to share with you today including a free pattern for a pillow/mini and my latest pattern featuring our Laguna Sunrise collection. I also took a recent finish to my quilter yesterday and will also share a sneak peek of that! I've got links to posts and videos from earlier in the week, too.

Half-Square Triangle Pillow or Mini Quilt

I recently finished up the above Half-Square Triangle Pillow for our booth at International Quilt Market next week. This design would also make a darling table topper or mini, and I've got a free PDF for you with all of the details (there is also a second layout option included).

Laguna Stars

My newest pattern featuring our Laguna Sunrise collection is called Laguna Stars, and it was included in the Laguna Sunrise Project Packages. It's also available now in paper and PDF in the shop. I have the sample being made now for this one and can't wait to share it with you. Laguna Stars is a beginner friendly quilt perfect for Layer Cakes or Fat Eighths or Fat Quarters. Also, if you purchase a Layer Cake, Fat Quarter Bundle, or Fat Eighth Bundle from my shop I'll add in the Laguna Stars pattern for free (this week only).

Brightly Sew Along Begins Thursday!

I also want to let you know that we will be starting our Sew Along for the Brightly Sampler in our Family Favorites book this Thursday. I'll have a blog post that day along with a YouTube video with all of the details. (You can also find details about the sew along on yesterday's Saturday Seven post linked below).

Sneak Peek...

And if you're still reading. as promised, here is a sneak peek of my most recent finish. This is a king-size quilt made up of a previously unfinished project combined with the setting I used for my Moda Blockheads 5 quilt. Get more details on tomorrow's works in progress post and video.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my weekly newsletter and for the kind comments and messages you send. I appreciate them very much.

Finally...let me know if you have any things you'd like to learn about from International Quilt Market this week. I'll do my best to report on your questions when I return.

Happy quilting!

Have a great day!
Sherri

Although there is still another full week of May, it's definitely the unofficial start to summer where I live. School is out, daytime temperatures are in the high 90's, and the summer vibe is real. (I'm just...

It took me most of the week to get back in my normal rhythms after attending the H + H Americas convention in Chicago (I'm linking my recap of this event below). But I've been steadily getting things put away and cleaned up and am ready for a productive week ahead.
