Hey there Reader,

I hope your weekend is a good one! I have some fun things to share today here including some details on a couple of free quilt layouts I'll be sharing this week. Keep reading for all of the details on those and the happenings at A Quilting Life.

County Fair Quilt + Runner

The July pattern of the month, the County Fair Quilt + Runner, is just $5 through the 31st. I absolutely love my table runner from this pattern in our Raspberry Summer fabrics. Be sure to get this one if you didn't get it earlier in the month.

Blockheads 5 Finish...

My Blockheads 5 quilt is fully finished, quilted, bound, and photographed! It just might be my favorite scrap quilt ever and is a lovely king-size quilt. I'll be sharing a free PDF download with directions for my setting on Wednesday on the blog...be sure to stop by for that. (I'll also have it included in next week's newsletter). I'll also share many more photos of the quilt on Wednesday.

I'm also nearly finished with my scrappy Half-Square Triangle quilt I started in April and will be sharing my free layout for that on Friday--stay tuned. This layout is for a nice sized quilt just a little smaller than twin size.

Hello Reader, I hope you are doing well this weekend, and that you are finding some time to sew. I've just returned home from a mini vacation in a cooler climate. We were able to get out of the heat for a few days earlier this week and stay in a friend's cabin near a lovely mountain lake with all of our family there for at least part of the stay.
