End of June Notes from a Quilting Life + Fabric Bundles

Hello Reader,

I hope your weekend is going well! Today I'm sharing my end of June notes with links to all of our posts and videos from earlier in the week. I also want to let you know that there are some fun bundles in the shop right now. (New sample yardage for our next collection arrived earlier this week, so I've been doing a little sorting to make room for it).

Shop Update = New Fabric Bundles

With new sample yardage needing storage space in my sewing room, I got to work cutting some delightful bundles for the shop yesterday. You'll find some Sherri & Chelsi bundles along with some Fig Tree goodies for your early Christmas sewing. (Early release pre-cuts and low-volume bundles from this collection will be available next month, too).

Earlier This Week on the Blog and our YouTube channel

We had a fun week on the blog and YouTube channel--find all of the links for the posts and videos below:

Two More Weeks to Register for Quilting Life Academy!

Doors are open now to register for my next session of my Quilting Life Academy course for beginner and intermediate level quilters. This will be the final session of this course for 2025, so if you’ve been thinking about signing up, don’t wait! We will be starting the 6-week course on Monday, July 14th (all of the videos are available for you to begin whenever you want after the 14th).

My signature course takes you from start to finish with videos you can watch again and again on every step of the quilting process. We also make a beautiful star sampler, and there are lessons on organizing, tools, and more with downloadable printables and small projects. This introductory pricing will be available through the end of June and will go up $50 beginning July 1st.

Coming This Week

Stay tuned tomorrow for a new podcast episode. It will be the fifth Monday of the month, so it's a listener question episode. Those episodes are always so much fun! I'll also have a new Blockheads block to share and a video sharing the basket row for our Harbor Sew Along.

Thanks so very much for taking the time to read my weekly newsletter and for your kind emails and support. I appreciate it so very much. I hope you get some sewing and quilting done this week, too!

Hello Reader, I returned home earlier this week after getting to spend a few days in Dallas at the Modavation retreat for shop owners. I truly enjoyed meeting and sharing with shop owners from all over the country and the world! I also came home with a true appreciation for everything Moda does to help ensure their shop owners have everything they need to do their best for their customers. I was also able to spend a little time at the Moda warehouse which is also inspiring. Being able to meet...

Hello Reader I hope your June is off to a wonderful start! Here in the desert we have been enjoying a cooler than normal end of spring and were even blessed with some rain last week! (We're currently in a drought and are so appreciative of any water we can get). It's supposed to get hotter soon, so I'll definitely be indoors in my sewing room :) Today I'm sharing details from earlier in the week on the blog and YouTube channel. Plus, I have a much-requested pattern now available in paper...
