Hello Reader, Aloha! I know the weekly newsletter is arriving a bit later than usual--and for good reason. I've just returned home from a lovely week away with the most amazing quilters from all over the world. I'm grateful to have been in Kaua'i, Hawaii for the Seams Like Aloha Sewcation retreat this past week. We had quilting classes, island tours, lovely meals, cultural classes, quilt shop excursions, and more. I was able to teach my Mahalo quilt to over fifty incredible women. (Camille Roskelley of Thimbleblossoms was the other quilting teacher at this event who taught and brought her incredible spirit and enthusiasm). I truly feel like I have new friends from all over the country and the world now. (Also, it looks like we will be holding this event again in November 2027 at the same location. Stay tuned for details on that and for our 2026 event plans). It will take me a few days to get off of island time and get my emails answered and orders shipping out--thank you in advance for your patience with this. Earlier This Week on the Blog and YouTube ChannelWe also had a busy week on the blog and YouTube! Below you'll find the links to the posts and videos. (Note: I shared the November Block of the Month pattern on Monday November 3rd. The initial link required permission to download; however, I got that updated later that morning while in Hawaii and it is good to go now. Remember to print the template at 100% or "actual size").
Coming SoonStay tuned for our next podcast tomorrow where we have a special guest. (I taped this episode before I left on my trip. I will share all about the sewcation event on November 24th). I'll also be sharing my Moda Blockheads 6 setting soon--look for that as well later this week. I'll also be adding some fun things to the shop later this week--look for those later on Friday.
Happy quilting and thank you so very much for taking the time to read my newsletter. |
